Welder / Fabricator required to join a leading subcontract manufacturing specialist company that is based in the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will have experience with Mig / Tig welding and ideally worked with Mild steel and Stainless steels.
Welder / Fabricator Job Overview
- Carry out MIG, TIG, on a wide range of materials (e.g., mild steel, stainless steel)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Work closely with the laser cutting, CNC machining, and turning teams to ensure components are fabricated and assembled to tolerance.
- Carry out quality checks to ensure all welded and fabricated products meet required standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S policies.
- Assist with continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and product quality.
Welder / Fabricator Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Competent in MIG and TIG welding (laser welding advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of workshop health & safety standards.
- Based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes
Welder / Fabricator Salary & Benefits
- Full time - Permanent
- Salary - 14 - 15.50 per hour (DOE)
- Competitive holiday allowance
