Location: Milton Keynes – Fully office based

Salary: £40k to £45k

Hours: Monday to Friday - 7:30am–4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–3:30pm Fridays

Senior Technical Estimator Responsibilities:

Producing detailed, accurate cost estimates for projects based on architectural drawings and project specifications.
Advising on specification compliance and identifying opportunities for value engineering.
Collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to gather all the right information.
Reviewing tender documents to shape clear project briefs for the estimating team.
Staying up to date with fire regulations, industry standards, and competitive products.
Using CRM systems like Pipedrive and leveraging Excel to keep projects on track.
Supporting Project Consultants with quote revisions and technical queries.

Senior Technical Estimator Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:

Strong experience in technical estimating within construction.
A deep understanding of fire compliance, industry regulations, and construction practices.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM tools.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A solution-focused mindset with the flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
