Head Chef - Country Inn - Exmoor - £40K+ NEG
Rare opportunity for an experienced Chef to take the leading role as Head Chef in this busy Inn with approximately 30 letting rooms.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working at Sous Chef or Head Chef level in quality food led outlets and have a CV that shows good career progression. You should enjoy working with fresh locally sourced ingredients and have the ability to design seasonal menus. As Head Chef you will promote team work, be responsible for supervising, managing and training the kitchen team to produce high standards of food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
SKILLS
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong background in food production with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively under pressure.
