Purpose of the role
To play a key role in the Camira Finance team supporting key stakeholders by providing financial information covering, but not limited to, cost control, stock management, driving efficiencies across the business and gross margin analysis. The role is predominantly focused on Camiras UK manufacturing facilities, working alongside the operations team as a business partner.

The day to day

  • To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
  • Lead and develop a team of two management accountants supporting UK manufacturing facilities.
  • Oversee management accounts and financial reporting for multiple business units.
  • Partner with department heads on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses, highlighting key insights and risks.
  • Deliver margin cost analysis and collaborate across departments to drive cost management and inventory efficiency.
  • Act as a finance business partner to supply chain, operations, sales, and customer service, supporting inventory turnover and stock optimization strategies.
  • Support new product development initiatives with the innovation and sales teams.
  • Manage stock control processes and produce regular inventory reports with recommendations.
  • Assist with annual audits and continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools.
  • Lead the rollout of finance reporting software across the business.
  • Coach and develop finance team members and provide ad hoc support to the Head of Commercial Finance

Other considerations

  • Professional Finance Qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Previous experience in working a finance team where stock is a major focus
  • Participate in trade shows and mini exhibitions during the calendar year. Work in close collaboration with Sales team and our corporate marketing team.
