Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an Attendance Lead to join a dedicated SEN school in Tooting Bec. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

Job Details:
Role: Attendance Lead
Location: Tooting Bec, London
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: GBP120 per day
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Responsibilities Include:
Monitoring and recording daily attendance
Following up on absences with parents and carers
Liaising with external agencies where necessary
Supporting the SEN and pastoral teams to improve pupil attendance
Ensuring accurate use of school MIS systems (e.g., SIMS or Arbor)
Contributing to the schools safeguarding and wellbeing strategies

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working in a school, ideally within an SEN setting
Experience in an attendance, admin, or pastoral role
Confident using MIS systems such as SIMS or Arbor
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
A calm, professional, and proactive approach
Relevant qualifications or training in safeguarding or attendance (desirable)
An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service is required for this role
