We're hiring a Workshop Tool Hire Fitter / Engineer to service, repair and maintain a wide range of hire equipment, ensuring everything is safe, reliable and ready for hire.
What you'll be doing
- Service, repair and maintain small tools and hire equipment
- Fault-find, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Carry out safety checks, inspections and compliance checks
- Prepare equipment so it's ready to go straight out on hire
- Work as part of a busy, organised workshop team
What you get
- 30,000 - 35,000 basic salary
- Overtime available
- Monday to Friday only, 7:30am-5:00pm
- No weekends, no call-outs, no nights
- Mitcham-based workshop role

This role suits you if you've worked as a:
- Tool Hire Fitter
- Plant Fitter / Workshop Plant Engineer
- Small Tools Engineer
- Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician
- Workshop Engineer / Maintenance Engineer
Experience in tool hire, plant hire, construction equipment or similar workshop environments is ideal, but strong hands-on experience is what matters most.
