Monmouth | Hybrid | Permanent | £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Car

We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a growing group of engineering companies, based from Monmouth with minimal UK travel.

This is a true HRBP role — partnering with Exec-level stakeholders and business leaders to deliver strategic, data-led people initiatives that support cultural change, leadership development, and workforce performance.

Working closely with the Head of HR Partnering, this position will help shape and implement people strategies aligned to business goals — not just supporting senior leadership, but influencing them.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

•          Partner with senior leaders and Exec-level stakeholders to design and deliver business-aligned people strategies.

•          Lead data-driven people initiatives, turning insight into action — such as reducing absence rates, increasing engagement, and improving team performance.

•          Support change projects, including culture shifts, restructuring, and capability development.

•          Use HR metrics to track trends, report to senior leaders, and influence business decisions.

•          Support and coach leaders on performance management, succession planning, and people capability.

•          Contribute to upskilling initiatives and build management capability to reduce HR dependency over time.

•          Work closely with CoEs, HRIS, and Shared Services to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.

•          Manage complex ER issues, while ensuring focus remains on strategic and preventative solutions.

Skills & Experience Required

•          Proven experience as a true HR Business Partner — influencing senior leadership teams in a fast-paced environment.

•          Experience supporting organisational change, cultural development, and strategic people planning.

•          Able to translate data into stories that influence decision-making and demonstrate tangible HR impact.

•          Comfortable challenging and supporting leaders, including Exec and Board-level contacts.

•          Strong experience with performance, talent, and workforce planning processes.

•          Demonstrable emotional intelligence and commercial understanding.

•          CIPD Level 5+ or equivalent experience.

•          Excellent knowledge of employment law and ER best practice.

•          Experience in engineering, manufacturing, logistics or similar environments is beneficial.

•          UK Driving Licence required — occasional travel to other UK sites (approx. 6 times per year).
