Package: £27k - £30k + Bonus + Private Medical

You have the chance to join a growing, independent business in Milton Keynes. This well-established metals business has a small, friendly team and now requires a new Sale Executive to assist with further growth.
Once trained, your typical day to day will involve responding to enquiries and quoting customers. When possible, you will be new business focused and call/visit new customers. You must also be prepared for physical work as at times you will be required to cover in the Warehouse/driving the van for deliveries.
This is an office based role, working hours are 8am-5pm (can be changed slightly if required).

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a driven, confident Sales Executive to join our small but busy team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in sales or account management, particularly in industrial or B2B sectors. Your main focus will be sales, however the role will be a mix of internal and external sales responsibilities, including some warehouse and delivery tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries, quoting prices, quantities, delivery times, and specifications
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across various industries
- Manage sales in a fast-paced, back-to-back and stock trading environment
- Operate basic machinery (forklift, guillotine, cutting/coating equipment) – training provided
- Support warehouse operations and occasionally deliver to clients (using company vehicles)
What We’re Looking For
- Sales or account management experience
- Professional, proactive, and detail-orientated
- Confident communicator, particularly by phone and email
- Comfortable with basic mathematical calculations and IT systems
- Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and work with a diverse client base
- Driving license and access to your own vehicle (business mileage reimbursed)
Desirable (but not required):
- Knowledge of stainless steel, aluminum, or engineering/manufacturing sectors
- Experience using computerized stock systems
