Robertson Bell is delighted to be partnering with a well-established organisation in the search for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team on a twelve-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a supportive team environment while gaining exposure to a broad range of accounting duties. This is a full-time, on-site role, based five days per week, offering the chance to make a tangible impact during a crucial period for the finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reconciling bank accounts and monitoring daily cash positions
  • Supporting cash flow management, including credit card transactions and staff expense processing
  • Assisting the Accountant with general ledger reconciliations and intercompany/cross-charging activities
  • Providing cross-cover and support across the wider finance team as required

The successful candidate will:

  • Have demonstrable experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or bookkeeping role
  • Be proficient in Excel and confident using accounting systems
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, as well as external stakeholders
