Superb Architectural Studio based near Cheltenham is looking for a Project Architect for a full time permanent role.  Candidates should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with previous experience in graphic presentation work relating to architecture, planning or allied professions.

The practice is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary company offering services in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, and hydrology, from design to completion. The appointed applicant will assist the Planning Consultants with design and presentation work relating to a variety projects including residential, commercial, minerals and renewable energy development.

Key job responsibilities include:
• To prepare drawings and plans, Construction drawings, Photomontages, 3D Modelling and Visualizations and other Illustrative Material in support of Planning Applications, Presentation Work and Contract Documentation.
• Be capable of applying precise specifications in architectural drawings, and maintain all drawing package, client/consultants’ specifications in an organised manner.
• Be able to execute architectural details and write specifications to a high standard. Good knowledge and understanding of the UK building regulation and planning policies.
• Ensure that all project deadlines are met to the highest of standard.
• To assist in the preparation of illustrated reports, brochures, information leaflets and marketing materials. Maintaining and updating the Company’s Website or other internal technical documents.
• To have knowledge and experience in the use of the software packages, as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design and others)
• AutoCAD or another CAD software
• Sketch-up &/or Revit (Experience of other draughting / technical software may be advantageous)
• Rendering software
• GIS (would be advantageous, but not essential).
• The ability to undertake ‘freehand’ drawing and artwork (would be advantageous, but not essential).

Candidate specification
• Previous experience in graphic presentation work relating to architecture, landscape architecture, planning or allied professions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a can-do attitude
• Team player
• Full driving licence and use of own car
