My client specialises within the aerospace industry and provides class leading quality and cost-effective sourcing solutions across a wide and growing range of products and services.

They are no on the lookout for a Sheet Metal Worker to join their team based in Cheltenham.

Key Responsibilities – Sheet Metal Worker

  • You will be specialising in thin gauge aluminium, steel and titanium – 0.6mm to 6mm
  • Adhering to technical drawings/instructions/processes Fabricate sheet metal products with precision
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines and hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten metal materials
  • Shape sheet metal over anvils, blocks, or custom forms, ensuring accurate dimensions and smooth finishes
  • Support the training of new employees or less experienced team members as required
  • Work in accordance with all company health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Qualifications & Experience – Sheet Metal Worker

  • Engineering experience
  • Have worked to thin gauge
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documents
  • Familiar with first off inspection procedures
