About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
A welcoming Ofsted GOOD primary school in Sutton is seeking a caring and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This role is ideal for someone who has experience with Autism (ASC/ASD), ADHD, or other SEN needs. However, if you are enthusiastic, committed, and willing to learn, training will also be provided. Graduates with experience (paid or voluntary) in SEN support, particularly Autism, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN across all key stages

  • Deliver speech and language interventions

  • Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, ASD, and other additional needs

  • Assist the class teacher with day-to-day classroom support

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous child-related or SEN experience is highly desirable

  • Graduate with a minimum 2:1 (preferred)

  • Psychology or Speech & Language backgrounds would be a great fit

  • Confident, bubbly, and nurturing personality
