We are seeking an experienced roofer to join a reputable building and maintenance contractor in Merton, Croydon, and surrounding areas.
The position offers a salary range of £40,000 to £45,000, along with a van, fuel, and additional benefits.
Candidates should have experience in roofing repairs, including pitch roofs, felt flat roof work, slating, tiling, and flashing, with a minimum of three years in the field preferred.
Basic skills in other trades such as brickwork and joinery are advantageous, and a driving license is essential for this role.

Position: Roofer

Location: Merton, Croydon and surrounding areas

Salary: 40-45k plus van, fuel, benefits

We are currently recruiting an experienced roofer to join a well-established building and maintenance contractor specialising in domestic repairs.

Duties include:

Roofing repairs, felt flat roof work, slating, tiling, sheet lead work, flashing and other associated trades ie basic carpentry.

Use of scaffolding, towers, easi deck etc when required

Providing a high quality and efficient service to customers

Focus on Health and Safety at all times.

The ideal candidate:

Will have experience in repairs and fault finding to pitch roofs, felt flat roof works, slating, tiling, sheet lead work and flashings which are all essential.

A basic level of competency within other trades such asbrick work and some basic joinery would be advantageous.

A driving licence is essential

Computer literate-able to use a tablet/PDA
