We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare. This role is ideal for someone with a good understanding of the development matters and EYFS framework. Experience in a nursery setting is preferential. This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team, focusing on providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children.
Day-to-day of the role:- Engage with children in a variety of educational and play activities, following the EYFS framework.
- Monitor and support the development of children, ensuring activities are suited to their individual needs.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for children.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children’s progress and daily activities.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery.
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in childcare.
- Good understanding of the development matters and EYFS framework.
- Preferably with experience working in a nursery setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passionate about working with children and contributing to their developmental progress.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.18.
