Location – Morecombe
Production Supervisor Shifts: Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm

Orion are partnered with a heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Morecombe, who are recruiting for A Confident and experienced Production Supervisor to join the team.
Production Supervisor Required Experience:
- Knowledge and understanding of welding and fabrication processes
- Background in manufacturing ideally heavy industry
- Ability and confidence to galvanise a team to maximise productivity within a shop floor.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Ability to use a variety of tools & equipment.
- Ability to read and fully understand mechanical drawings.
- Experience working in welding and fabrication would be advantageous but not essential
- Ideally will have experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work confidently with cross departmental teams
Production Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of up to 20 welders in the fabrication shop
- Maximise productivity by increasing efficiencies within the team
- Motivate the team and push towards reaching KPI’s and bonus incentives
- Work across multi departmental teams to ensure smooth running of production
- Mentor the team
