Ourclient based in Lanarkshire is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join theirteam for Winter Gritting between November-March. Weekly standby rates &call out rates.
Your new role
You'll be driving theWinter Gritters to treat roads during icy and snowy conditions. You'll followplanned routes and respond to call-outs when needed. Shifts include nights andweekends.
Main duties include:
- Operating HGV Class 2 gritting vehicles
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Completing basic paperwork
- Working flexibly across shifts
What you'll need to succeed
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence & CPC
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Previous experience is helpful but not essential
What you'll get in return

- Call out rates: time and a half Mon-Sat, double time Sun
