About the Role:
On behalf of our client based in Motherwell, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the optimisation of production processes within a leading industrial facility. In this role, you will play a key part in planning and designing efficient manufacturing systems, ensuring that productivity, quality, and safety targets are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

  • Analyse equipment layout, workflow, and assembly methods to streamline operations.

  • Identify and specify parts, tools, and equipment required to meet manufacturing objectives in line with product specifications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and continuous improvement activities.

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines while contributing to process improvements.

  • Report directly to a supervisor or manager and work under close supervision.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.

  • Demonstrable experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing principles, techniques, and best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach.
