We're hiring for a QC Inspector to join a well-known manufacturing site in Motherwell. This role is all about precision, ensuring that only quality-assured parts enter production. If you've got a keen eye and solid hands-on inspection skills, this could be your next move.
What You'll Be Doing
Carry out dimensional checks using micrometers, verniers, calipers, and portable measuring tables - this is a key part of the role
Inspect incoming materials and components against quality standards
Investigate quality concerns and determine whether parts should be accepted or rejected
Review returned parts and support with initial sample checks for new components
Record non-conformance's
What we are looking for
Hands-on experience performing dimensional checks using manual measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, calipers, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
- Previous inspection experience within a manufacturing environment (automotive, marine, oil & gas, or construction) would be desirable but not essential
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
