About the Role
As the Holding General Manager, you will provide stable, hands-on leadership to the hotel while supporting the seamless continuation of standards, culture, and guest satisfaction. You'll ensure the smooth running of daily operations across all departments, guide department heads, and maintain strong financial and service performance until a permanent GM is appointed.
This role is ideal for a seasoned hotel leader who thrives in a boutique environment, enjoys engaging with guests and teams alike, and can quickly step in to steady and elevate operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and Maintenance
- Lead, coach, and support department heads, ensuring high morale and aligned service standards
- Maintain and improve guest satisfaction, addressing issues proactively
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and operational policies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Uphold the brand's reputation through attention to detail and personalised guest engagement
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and service enhancements
About You
- Proven experience as General Manager, Acting GM, or Hotel Manager in a boutique or luxury setting
- A hands-on, approachable leadership style with excellent communication skills
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Ability to stabilise and optimise operations in a transitional period
- Guest-focused mindset with a passion for exceptional hospitality
