Hgv Mechanic Technician

TD Recruitment are currently looking for skilled HGV Mechanics to join our client in Musselburgh, EH21 area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
• Perform routine servicing and inspections
• Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
• Replace or repair faulty parts and ensure roadworthiness
• Complete job cards and service records accurately
• Work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HGV mechanic/technician
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
• Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) is a plus
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Own tools preferred
• Must have right to work in the UK
