An excellent opportunity has arisen for permanent Shift Team Leader (2 Shift Operation - Mon-Friday) to join our client’s production team in Ipswich (not food). If you are passionate about overseeing daily operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards, and have strong leadership and organisational skills, this role is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise Team Members: Efficiently allocate tasks based on individual skills and workloads, ensuring a balanced and productive work environment.
  • Ensure Productivity: Monitor team activities, provide support, and address issues to maintain high operational efficiency throughout the shift.
  • Request Materials: Coordinate with the Materials Coordinator to ensure timely procurement of necessary kits and materials, preventing machine stoppages.
  • Coordinate with Stores Team: Communicate regularly with Product teams to track inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to machines.
  • Quality Control Patrols: Collaborate with the Quality Team to perform regular quality inspections, ensuring all products meet company standards.
