KPI Recruiting are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our client’s extensive kitchen team in Nantwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to take the next step in their career, working within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service
- Maintain food hygiene, safety standards, and portion control
- Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and development
- Assist with menu planning, stock management, and minimising waste
- Take the lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
- Support catering for buffets, conferences, and special events
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous professional kitchen experience (educational/catering background desirable)
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Enhanced DBS Check required
