Our client is a leading insurance provider specializing in property and casualty coverage. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loss Adjuster to join our team in the South East region. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong background in insurance claims, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations to assess the extent of loss or damage to insured properties.
  • Evaluate insurance claims and determine coverage eligibility based on policy terms and conditions.
  • Interview policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather information and evidence regarding the loss or damage.
  • Analyze and review documentation, including police reports, repair estimates, and medical records, to determine the cause and extent of the loss.
  • Collaborate with external experts, such as forensic specialists and engineers, to obtain professional opinions and advice.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, assessments, and recommendations for claim settlements.
  • Negotiate settlements with policyholders, ensuring fair and accurate compensation based on the policy coverage.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to loss adjusting.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim activities and communications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as insurance, risk management, or business administration.
  • Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage terms, and claims procedures.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and make accurate judgments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple claims simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the South East region as required.
