Shift Pattern: Mornings and Afternoons no weekends.

About the role:

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, they will be looking for a hands-on and reliable individual. Youll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving the production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns across plant equipment and site facilities.

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as per the maintenance schedule.

Support the wider maintenance team in achieving operational and departmental goals.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain ongoing professional development.

Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults with a logical approach.

Work closely with supervisors to maintain clear documentation and activity tracking.

Suggest improvements to maintenance practices and contribute to equipment reliability and efficiency.

Take part in improvement projects to optimize processes and equipment performance.

Be flexible to work shifts (with applicable shift premiums) and overtime during busy periods.

Skills & Experience Required:

Fully time-served electrician with a recognised trade qualification.

Ideally educated to HNC level or equivalent in a related discipline.

Proven fault-finding skills across both electrical and mechanical systems.

Strong planning, and organizational skills.

A resilient, proactive, and accountable individual who works well both independently and within a team.
