We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Logistics Supervisor to join our team on a busy construction site. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely movement of materials, equipment, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site logistics and deliveries in line with the construction schedule
- Supervise vehicle and plant movement on-site
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and delivery teams
- Maintain a safe and organised site layout
- Coordinate with crane and lifting teams for all lifting operations
- Enforce health and safety standards at all times
- Maintain clear records and delivery documentation
Requirements:
- Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Lift Supervisor or Lifting Operations certificate
- Proven experience in a similar role within construction logistics
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures
Desirable:
- First Aid certification
- Knowledge of logistics planning software or tools
