Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Pay: 55,473 per annum, rising to 62,877 (following assessment) + OT

Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Fri and x2 on Sundays

Shift: Panama Shift - 6.30-6.30 (12 hours)

Week 1: Mon & Tues (Days), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri,Sat & Sun (Nights)

Week 2: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Days), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off)

Week 3: Mon & Tues (Nights), Wed & Thurs (Off), Fri, Sat & Sun (Days)

Week 4: Mon & Tues (Off), Wed & Thurs (Nights), Fri, Sat & Sun (Off) rotates back to Wk1.

Holidays: 20 days increasing every year up to 25 days

Benefits: 6% pension / Life Assurance (3x annual salary) / Discount on products.

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
  • Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
  • PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time served apprenticeship
  • Strong Maintenance background, working within automated manufacturing/ production environment or similar
  • Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc

Commutable from:

Neath, Baglan, Swansea, Port Talbot, Llanelli and surrounding areas.
