I am recruiting severalCARINGandPASSIONATESenior Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Neath and supports adults aged between 18 - 65.

The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.

**Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for these positions**

  • Salary: 25,759 - 26,417
  • Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Shifts: 3-week rota 07:30 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 22:00
  • Location: Neath

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the Registered Manager in running shifts
  • Ensure all compliance is managed correctly
  • Supporting the families of residents
  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements of the Senior Support Worker Role:

  • Previous experience working within a residential service
  • NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care
  • Must be resilient.
  • DriversESSENTIAL due to location
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
