I am recruiting severalCARINGandPASSIONATESenior Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, which is located in Neath and supports adults aged between 18 - 65.
The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.
**Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for these positions**
- Salary: 25,759 - 26,417
- Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours
- Contract: Permanent
- Shifts: 3-week rota 07:30 to 14:30 and 14:30 to 22:00
- Location: Neath

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:
- Support the Registered Manager in running shifts
- Ensure all compliance is managed correctly
- Supporting the families of residents
- Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
- Ensuring the safety of the service users.
- Following care plans for each individual.
- Taking service users out into the community.
- Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips.
- Varying levels of personal care.
Requirements of the Senior Support Worker Role:
- Previous experience working within a residential service
- NVQ Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care
- Must be resilient.
- DriversESSENTIAL due to location
- Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
