We are currently seeking cover for the following post on a temporary basis/ Long term to commence asap.

Lecturer in Carpentry & Joinery

To carry out a range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of student's learning programmes.

This is a temporary/long term position and is for approximately 20 paid teaching hours per week.

The distribution of hours is as follows but may be subject to change:

  • Mon, Tue, Wed - 6 hours per day
  • Thursday - 2 hours

Candidates should have a teaching qualification, along with a NVQ Level 3/Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery and have relevant industrial experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level 2.
