Our client, a respected family run contractor specialising in social housing refurbishment and maintenance projects is seeking a motivated individual to join their commercial team.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project teams, you’ll assist in the commercial management of various housing contracts from reactive maintenance to planned works and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts.

  • Assist in cost tracking, budget monitoring, and financial reporting.

  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure accurate and timely information.

  • Help procure subcontract packages and analyse quotes.

  • Maintain and organise contract documentation and commercial records.

  • Learn and grow through hands-on experience and mentioning from senior staff.

What We're Looking For:
  • A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (HNC/HND/Degree)

  • 1–2 years experience in a similar role, within construction or housing.

  • A genuine desire to learn and progress your career.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
