We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Pendle. This role focuses on supporting Key Stage 1 pupils, providing both educational and emotional support to enhance their learning experience.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist in preparing and setting up resources for activities in accordance with lesson plans.
  • Provide support to individual students and small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks.
  • Work closely with the teacher to monitor the progress of pupils and provide feedback.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school meetings and training sessions.
  • Support the teacher in managing class activities and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within Key Stage 1.
