Full product training will be provided in-house to ensure your success in the role. The head office for this role is based in Nelson.
Field Service Engineer - Packaging Machinery Job Overview- Hands-on field service engineer position
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance, servicing, and occasional installation of packaging machinery
- Performing breakdown and repair tasks on customer sites across the UK
- Nationwide travel required, including overnight stays
- A skilled mechanical and electrical engineer with practical experience
- Knowledge of or experience working with 3-phase induction motors
- Previous experience in a maintenance, field service, or technician role (or similar)
- Resides within commuting distance to the North West - our head office is based in Nelson, Lancashire
- £30,000 - £31,000 basic salary + paid travel + overtime (OTE £40,000+) + technical training + development opportunities
- All travel expenses covered
- Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 16.30
- Friday - 7.30 - 13.30 (early finish not always possible depending on the job for the day).
- Overtime hours paid at time and a half.
