Due to continued growth, a global manufacturing company is looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their business, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of their production equipment.

With significant investment into new machinery and production lines planned, you will play a crucial role in achieving world-class standards, maximising plant availability, and driving continuous improvements in reliability, productivity, quality, and cost reduction.

This position is paying in the region of £42,000

As a Maintenance Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Providing effective and efficient reactive electrical & mechanical maintenance support, documenting findings, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Developing and adhering to Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Predictive Maintenance routines, using KPIs to track progress and share results.
  • Fault identification and preventive measures to reduce machine downtime.
  • Overseeing refurbishments, installations, improvements, and modifications to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
  • Conducting reliability routines, including PPMs, Electrical Standards, CBM routines, to enhance asset performance.
  • Sourcing and ordering parts/equipment as needed.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering Manager in identifying and estimating small electrical/mechanical projects to drive material usage, efficiency, uptime, and maintenance cost improvements.
  • Maintenance Engineer desired skills and experience:
  • Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility with working hours and shift work.
  • Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualifications (Level 3 in Engineering and/or higher)
