Technical Documentation Administrator

Our client based in Nelson is looking for Technical Documentation Administrator on a permanent basis, the client is a world-renowned manufacturer and are looking for candidates with experience of technical administration.

The Job

  • Assist the Servicing, Spares and Documentation Manager in the production and maintenance of all equipment documentation.
  • Ensuring a full library of documentation is maintained
  • Ensuring the timely production and supply of operating and maintenance manuals for each customer.
  • Ensure that deadline for production of all Technical Documentation is met. Constantly review and update the User Guides/SOPs for each pieceofequipment.
  • Assist the Installation and Assembly manager in the production of installation guides.
  • Work alongside the Projects and Design teams to ensure all information contained in Equipment Manuals is relevant, up to date and formatted so that it is easily understood.
  • Liaising with translation services to produce manuals in various languagesthroughout the world.

About you

  • 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the production and compilation of Engineering Manuals, Technical Documentation and SOPs.
  • Ability to use plan, schedule, co-ordinate and problem solve effectively
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relative subject (Desirable)
  • It is a requirement of the post that the post holder holds a current category B (car) full driving licence
  • It is a requirement of the post that the post holder will be able and be prepared to work in locations both overseas and within the UK.
