Key Responsibilities:
- Full class teacher responsibilities for a Year 3 class, including planning, preparation, marking, and assessment
- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive
- Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all children
- Participating in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school events
- Upholding and promoting the Catholic values and ethos of the school
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS and experience in KS2, ideally with Year 3
- A genuine passion for teaching and commitment to raising pupil achievement
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A reflective approach to teaching and openness to professional development
- A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Understanding of and sensitivity to the Catholic ethos (practising Catholic not essential)
