The Role of Electrical CAD Design Engineer
As the Electrical CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, supporting the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM), and providing engineering support to the wider Electrical Design team. You will also review electrical schematics to ensure they adhere to relevant standards and internal CAD processes.
The Electrical CAD Design Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining documents and drawings throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with other engineering functions, and managing configuration control to deliver on this exciting Defence project.
What We're Looking For
The ideal Electrical CAD Design Engineer will have strong experience in a similar role, a solid understanding of electrical-related Defence Standards (including Lloyds Register and Military Standards), and proficiency in using AutoCAD Electrical or a comparable CAD software. You should also possess the ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment, and thrive in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
Due to the nature of the projects you will be working on, you will be required to undergo UK MoD SC clearance.
