The Role:The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join the team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEN in both classroom-based and practical learning activities, helping them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils' learning and engagement under the direction of teaching staff and therapists
  • Adapt classroom activities to meet a variety of learning styles and needs
  • Help promote independence, communication, and confidence in students
  • Assist with behaviour management, transitions, and emotional regulation
  • Provide personal care where required
  • Contribute to planning, observations, and reporting as part of a team

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or education setting
  • Kind, patient, and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to different support needs
  • Ability to assist with personal care and behaviour support
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
