I am seeking a supportive and engaging Teaching Assistant for a full time, ongoing contract with a unique educational provision in New Milton, Hampshire! The school cater to young people who find mainstream education difficult, the pupils are aged between 7 and 16 years old. They pride themselves on recognising young people's emotions and assess each child individually. This particular role would be to work with a student on a 1:1 basis, to support them throughout their school day and encourage them to reach their potential. This student requires consistency so to be considered for this role you must be available Monday to Friday during school term time and between the hours of 8:30am to 4pm. You do not necessarily need a Teaching Assistant qualification or a wealth of classroom experience to be considered for this position. Due to the needs within the school and of the pupil you will be working with, they are happy to consider people with...* First hand experience with family/friends* Those who come with experience in a care setting* Psychology/criminology or counselling graduatesAs well as experienced Teaching Assistants. They're looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm, passion and care to the classroom. Someone who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative.
