Workshop Assistant
We are currently looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy manufacturing company based in New Milton.
Training provided - a fantastic chance to learn and develop your skills!

Introduction
This will be a varied role and an excellent opportunity to gain experience across an array of manufacturing processes and support across the site.

Responsibilities - Once Trained

• Sheet Metal Fabrication tasks
• Pressure Testing and Degreasing
• Fitting tasks
• Maintenance & Repair work
• Tooling Management
• Extruding
• Deliveries to suppliers and customers when needed.
• Assisting Shopfloor Supervisor when needed
• Supporting Apprentices and Work Experience students
• Ensure Process and Procedures are followed at all times
• Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and guidance

Ideal Experience:

• A good knowledge of internal processes and procedures
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Self-motivated and driven
• Able to work as a team and independently
• Good IT skills
• Driving License - essential

Hours
Days with a lunchtime finish on Fridays
