Position: Sheet Metal Worker

Location: New Milton

Salary: 20.00-22.00 per hour

Hours of work: Monday- Friday with half a day on Fridays!

(Flexible start and finish times subject to work patterns)

We are currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers with traditional hand skills and expertise in working with thin gauge aluminium. If you have a passion for precision craftsmanship and enjoy working with your hands, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use of hand tools to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal with precision.
  • Shape metal over blocks or forms, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Inspect, assemble, and smooth seams and joints of welded, brazed, or burred surfaces.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience working with thin gauge aluminium.
  • Strong proficiency with traditional hand tools for sheet metal work.
  • Experience in shaping and forming metal.
  • Ability to inspect and smooth seams and joints.
  • Good understanding of safety standards and procedures.
