Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced across decommissioning, waste management, and more recently from engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment. They are looking to recruit a Mechanical Technician on a contract until the end of 2025 for its Dungeness site.
The Mechanical Technician role comes with a rate of 38.17 per hour (CIS).
Key skills
- Performing plant operations, installations, assembly, dismantling, and other activities on equipment within the site and workshop environment on general plant and equipment.
- Experience working in the nuclear sector, or on industrial sites.

- 4 days a week
- 10 hour shifts
- CIS - 38.17 an hour.
Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or relevant courses.
Security Clearances are not required but a valid BPSS would be an advantage.
