Station Support Team Member - General Administration Role

Roles & Responsibilities
- You will be working as an integral part of a multi-disciplined team, reporting to the Station Support Team Leader. The role involves learning one of the numerous disciplines within the team, be it Work Management, Document Management, Corrective Action Programme, or one of numerous others. Eventually, you may also have the opportunity to learn a second role, enhancing the flexibility that is central to the ethos of our team. Additionally, you will be carrying out general admin duties within the Station Support Team, supporting both the team and the wider station where necessary.
Key Tasks
- Entirely dependent on your given discipline/s, but could range from printing work order cards to compilation of monthly fuel stock reports, from checking and approval of document revisions to working with our Engineers to close out actions placed upon them. We have a really diverse range of responsibilities!
- Training to a high proficiency in company systems frequently used by our administrative teams: Asset Management System, Business Objects, etc.
- Working to defined procedures and policies; Departmental Instructions, Company Specifications and established templates and forms, to name a few.
- Responsibility for progressing and updating your own training plan, with the support of an experienced mentor in your given discipline/s.
- Eventual responsibility for updating and improving written instructions and procedures linked to your discipline/s.
- A range of other administration duties as directed by the Station Support Team Leader.
Key Skills
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 9-4 / A-C), or equivalent.
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. Full training will be given on company systems (AMS, Business Objects, etc).
- Keen attention to detail.
- Communication skills, and the confidence to use them to challenge, prompt and coach where appropriate.
- Open, honest and trustworthy due to the sensitive nature of the business.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team.
