Our multi award-winning Newark based Client is looking for aBuilding Surveyorto join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding projects. For the right candidate, the role offers strong prospects for progression to a senior position within the company.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities as a Building Surveyor will include:

  • Building Surveying and report writing:
  • Condition reports.
  • Party Wall Awards.
  • Diagnosis and remedy of building defects
  • Pre-acquisition reports.
  • Preparation of dilapidation reports and negotiation of dilapidation claims.
  • Small project works, including preparation of drawings, specification writing, schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and undertaking the Contract Administrator role.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Building Surveyor will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:

  • A degree qualified, recently Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS).
  • Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
  • GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Full driving license.
