Excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a rapidly growing architectural practice based in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
The practice are medium in size but operate in numerous sectors and project types. As a Senior Architectural Technician you will be joining a close knit team of Architects, Technicians and Designers, working on a variety of complex and interesting projects in areas such as; Healthcare, Residential, Leisure, Commercial and more.
The Senior Architectural Technician for this position will ideally hold at least 5 years of post qualification experience in a private practice environment, ideally having worked in a range of sectors. This position is perfect for an Architectural Technician looking to take the next step in their career and progress through the ranks within a practice that prides itself on investing in their staff.
The position requires an Architectural Technician with job running experience who is confident in client facing situations, along with the potential to be leading a small team of Architectural Technicians and Assistants.
The practice use AutoCAD and Revit software, so proficiency in both of these would be ideal. Revit training can be provided where necessary, but a basic grasp at the least would be helpful. The office is based just outside Newark, easily commutable from Nottingham, Lincoln, Derbyshire and as far afield as Leicester.
Requirements of the Senior Architectural Technician:
- A degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field
- CIAT accredited, or at least on the way through to becoming chartered.
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit (desirable).
- At least 5 years of industry qualification experience, ideally within an architectural practice.
- Job running experience is a must.
- Experience working within varied sectors, although Residential & Commercial work will be looked on favourably.
A competitive salary and benefits package will be awarded to the successful Senior Architectural Technologist, likely to be in the region of 40,000-47,500 per annum.
