Simply Education are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Teacher to undertake PPA cover roles across a range of primary schools in Newark-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible and confident teacher looking for short-term or longer-term placements that provide variety and consistent classroom teaching without full-time planning demands.
Position Overview:
Role: PPA Cover Primary Teacher
Location: Newark-on-Trent and surrounding areas
Type: Full-time or part-time options available
Duration: Short-term and long-term roles available
Pay: 130 to 220 per day (depending on experience and assignment)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classes during teacher PPA time
Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils
Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
Provide feedback where necessary on pupil engagement and progress
Work flexibly across a variety of year groups and school settings
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience across primary key stages is desirable
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
