Night Shift Transport Planner
Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Shift: Approx. 9:00pm / 10:00pm start - 10-hour shift
We are looking to introduce a Night Shift Transport Planner to our team. This role will play a key part in planning, coordinating, and supporting our night operations to ensure efficiency and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule vehicle routes in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Support with loading vehicles where required (forklift training can be provided).
Liaise with drivers and the pallet network to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate records and compliance with operational standards.
Tackle any issues that arise during the shift and find practical solutions.
Key requirements:
Previous experience in transport planning within a pallet network environment is essential.
Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Flexible and hands-on attitude, with a willingness to support wider operations when required.
