Pay: 90 - 105 per day

Contract Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:15am - 3:30pm)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs (SEN)?

We are proud to be working in partnership with a highly respected independent SEN school in Newark, Nottinghamshire. This specialist setting supports students aged 5 to 19 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related needs, providing a caring and structured learning environment.

As the school looks ahead to the new academic year, they are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. Interviews or trial days can be arranged as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support, tailored to meet individual learning needs.
  • Assist in delivering engaging, well-structured lessons and learning activities.
  • Support emotional wellbeing and encourage social development in students.
  • Support positive behaviour management both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Promote independence and life skills through daily routines and activities.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to record-keeping and development tracking.
