We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a temporary position within the industrial/manufacturing sector in Newark. This role requires a professional who can support the organisation's human resources operations effectively and efficiently.

Our client is a well-established organisation within the industrial/manufacturing industry. They are a medium-sized company known for their commitment to quality and operational excellence. They are now seeking an interim HR Advisor to join them on a temporary basis for around 3-4 months on their site in Newark.
Description
- Provide generalist HR support across various functions within the organisation.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with company policies and employment law.
- Manage and resolve disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Support with employee relations, including handling queries and resolving conflicts.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Coordinate training and development activities as required.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and practices.
- Support payroll processes and ensure all employee data is up to date.
Profile
A successful HR Advisor should have:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi-site or operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
- Track record of delivering HR projects and initiatives.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to act as a true business partner, supporting managers and staff to achieve business needs.
