HGV Technician
Location: Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire
Shift: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00
Salary: Up to £20 p/h PAYE (DOE)
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
We’re recruiting experienced HGV Technicians on behalf of one of the UK’s leading automotive companies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional, high-volume operation with excellent workshop facilities.
The Role:
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Ensure work is completed to manufacturer standards.
- Complete all associated documentation accurately.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- City & Guilds, NVQ or IMI Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
- Proven HGV Technician experience.
- Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence preferred but not essential.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Reliable and proactive approach to workload.
