Maintenance Engineer - Nottinghamshire
Salary: £44,000
Location: Nottinghamshire
Shift Pattern: Double days (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm)

We are working with a leading manufacturer who are looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join its dynamic team at their advanced production facility in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a market leader in the manufacture of their respected industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance as per the PPM schedule using the MaintMaster system.

  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce reactive maintenance and enhance production efficiency.

  • Support installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring successful integration with production processes.

  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of spare parts and liaise with the Maintenance Manager to ensure availability.

  • Work closely with production teams to develop safe, efficient processes and improve site operations.

  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.

  • High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.

  • Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including the ability to read technical drawings.

  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification.

  • Previous experience in the concrete or heavy manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
