Location: Newark-on-Trent area
Pay: From £16.00 to £20.00 per hour - Depending on Experience - (Rate will incrase after 3 Month Probation)
Job Overview
A customer is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their growing team. This position requires a strong background in welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work across a range of materials including sheet metal. The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of high-quality components and assemblies, working with precision and attention to detail.
Key Duties

Carrying out TIG and MMA (stick) welding on a variety of materials to meet specifications and quality standards.

Using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling components.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality control requirements.

Collaborating with team members to maintain efficiency and support process improvements.

Following health and safety standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Experience & Skills Required

Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with strong proficiency in TIG and MMA (stick) welding.

Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment when required.

Experience in sheet metal work and fabrication processes.

Competence in basic mathematics for accurate measurement and calculation.

Previous experience in assembly work is advantageous, as is confident use of hand and power tools.
